Android emulators have always allowed Android enthusiasts to please themselves with the Android OS running inside their computer. Looks like sticking to ordinary Android emulators was just not enough. Jide Technology, a China based firm came up with a whole new Android OS for Windows and Mac PCs. Rather then introducing a new emulator, Jide created this OS named as Remix OS. Remix OS is based Android x86 project. Remix OS is just an engineered form of the Android Lollipop and currently Remix OS is on the version 2.0. Just like the customised Android OS running in Samsung’s Galaxy smartphones or LG’s G series or Sony’s Xperia phones, the Android Lollipop packed inside Remix OS is also highly customised and has its own launcher, graphics, exclusive features etc. Since Remix OS runs is a completely different OS in your PC, you can use your computer is a pure Android device. Remix OS for PC works just as you would use the Windows OS or MacOS.

Remix OS allows its users to access the Google Play Store to download and install their desired applications from over 1.6 million unique Android games/apps available in the market. Remix OS is extremely easy to use, easy to understand and easy on eyes as well. Remix OS’s nature is quite close to the nature of a pure Android OS running in an  smartphone or tablet.  It carries features like Multi-tasking, Task-bar, Keyboard, On-screen Notifications, File Manager, OTA updates etc. Since we talked about the Window-ish nature of the Remix OS as well, we would tell you about the right-click feature residing inside this new OS. Remix OS’s keyboard shortcuts are also similar to the keyboard shortcuts of Windows and Mac. You can use the Control+S or Command + S key to save a document and Control+ N or Command + N to create a new document and a lot more. Overall, Remix OS is worth giving a try and if you’re a fan of Android Apps for PC, you might find Remix OS as the best choice to fulfil your Apps for PC craving.RemixOS-TechAppsPC
